Dan and Alice are typical students. They meet on a night out and Dan becomes Alice’s night in shinning armour. The rest (we hope) is history.

 

This new play by Ellen Larson is a tender look at blossoming young love and how a relationship can be one of the most powerful tools to help a person come to terms with all that life throws at you.

 

Dealing with peer pressure, broken marriages and bereavement this may sound like a heavy message laden night at the theatre, this was definitely not the case as the duo took it in turns to open up to each other with lovely touches of humour whilst re-telling significant traumatic moments in their young lives.

 

I was left hoping that these two would get married, have kids and live happily ever after. A tender, beautiful story of young love and growing up with the cards that life has dealt you.
