I'LL TAKE IT FROM HERE

Before we meet the main protagonist, Finlay, we are introduced to the inner workings of his mind in the guise of four “muses” who over the course of the show illustrate to us the inner turmoil that a mere Facebook invite from a girl can unleash on poor Finlay.
This success in this piece lies with the ensemble of five who demonstrate some precision comedic timing. Each muse had their time to inform, confuse and enlighten Finlay much to the disgust of the other three. It is this conflict that was the heart of the piece and every opportunity was used to inject humour into the proceedings.
I laughed a lot and I could completely associate with Finlay and his Muses. I would thoroughly recommend this and could be a treatment on the NHS. A great light-hearted look at issues surrounding mental health.
